Post-Graduation
Work Permit (PGWP)

Have you finished your studies in Canada and want to gain professional experience here? The Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) can let you work in Canada after you graduate, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria.

We support you with your PGWP application to check your eligibility, prepare your file and meet the applicable deadlines.

How we can help

  • Review of your eligibility and of the conditions specific to your study path
  • Review of the requirements for the institution, the credential and, where applicable, the field of study
  • Checking the applicable language requirements
  • Preparing and checking the supporting documents
  • Checking the applicable deadlines and support with submitting the application within the regulatory period
  • Review of your options for your status in Canada while the application is processed
  • Follow-up of your application

Good to know: the PGWP application must be submitted within 180 days of confirmation that you completed your program. If your study permit expired before you applied, a separate 90-day period after it expired may allow you to apply for the PGWP and restore your student status. Under certain conditions, particularly if your study permit is valid when you apply, you can work while the application is processed.

Depending on your application date, language requirements (CLB 7 for a university program, CLB 5 for a college program) may apply. For certain college or non-university programs, the field of study must also be eligible.
