Pro Immigration Montréal (the firm of Mohamed Rachid Trissia, regulated consultant RCIC R420535) is committed to protecting the privacy of the visitors to its website and of the people who entrust their information to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and what your rights are.

2. Data collected
We may collect the following information:
- Last name, first name, email address, phone number and, if you provide it, postal address (contact, evaluation and appointment request forms).
- A short description of your situation, when you enter it in the appointment request form.
- Information about your immigration situation (nationality, family situation, diplomas, work experience) when you fill in our evaluation form.
- Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, session length (through analytics cookies).
3. Purposes of processing
- To answer your requests for information and consultation.
- To evaluate your immigration profile and suggest suitable programs.
- To improve our website and services (anonymized statistics).
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations (CICC, MIFI).
4. Legal basis
The processing of your data is based on:
- Your explicit consent (forms, non-essential cookies).
- Performing a contract or pre-contractual measures at your request.
- Compliance with a legal obligation.
5. Sharing of data
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your information may be shared only with:
- The competent Canadian authorities (IRCC, MIFI) as part of processing your immigration file, with your consent.
- Our technical service providers (hosting, the Cal.com appointment tool) strictly within the limits of their role.
6. Retention of data
Data collected through our forms is kept for as long as needed to manage your file, then archived in accordance with the CICC's professional obligations (minimum 6 years). Browsing data is kept for a maximum of 13 months.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Québec, Law 25) and applicable Canadian laws, you have the following rights:
- The right to access your personal data.
- The right to rectification if the data is inaccurate.
- The right to withdraw consent.
- The right to erasure (subject to our legal obligations).
- The right to data portability.
- The right to de-indexation: you can ask for information about you published on the internet to be removed if it was collected when you were a minor, or if it no longer serves the original purpose for which it was collected.

8. Security
We put in place appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or disclosure: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access restricted to authorized people only, secure hosting.
9. Privacy incidents
In the event of an incident involving your personal information (unauthorized access, disclosure, loss or theft), we apply the following procedure:
- Immediate recording of the incident in our internal register of privacy incidents.
- Assessment of the risk of serious injury to the people concerned.
- Notification to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) as soon as possible if a risk of serious injury is identified, in accordance with section 3.5 of Law 25.
- Notification to the people concerned if the risk of injury is serious.

10. Transfers outside Québec
Some of the technical service providers we use may process or store your data outside Québec. Before any transfer, we make sure your information receives adequate protection in accordance with Law 25:
- Google Analytics — anonymized browsing data (servers in the United States, in line with Google's privacy policy).
- Cal.com — appointment booking and online payment for the consultation (servers in the United States).
Appointment request. The information entered in the form on the "Consultation" page (name, email, phone, optional address and description of your situation) is not stored on our website: it is passed to Cal.com, through the booking page address, to pre-fill your booking. You can edit it before confirming. Card payment is processed by the payment provider integrated with Cal.com; we do not keep your card data.
These transfers are covered by contractual clauses guaranteeing an equivalent level of protection. We invite you not to enter sensitive information (identity document numbers, medical details) in the description of your situation.

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (IRCC, CICC, MIFI, Cal.com). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it regularly.
